"Adelaide was a major producer of olive oil from settlement in the 1850s due to its Mediterranean climate. Some of the original orchards still exist . Our particular tree was planted in north Adelaide near these on MacKinnon Parade. It was a massive heritage tree, protected yet condemned as a hazard when the fruit covered the busy sidewalk. After the Treelopper had cleared the foliage I was left with a standing giant to salvage as best I could." - Gray
