Why Bungendore?
Artistic Director and founder, David Mac Laren, opened the Gallery in an historic building opposite the present Gallery in 1983.
“When I moved from New York City to Bungendore, I wanted a space to display my furniture as well the work of other makers from the Region. This is where I wished to live and work. I believed that our Gallery could prosper in a village setting. If we represent the best possible woodcraft in the best possible way, then people will seek us out, and they have.”
